Hello

       11 years ago, this company was a pipe dream. Some children want to be firefighters. Others want to be like one of their parents. That is me. My father has been a General Contractor for my entire life. Naturally, a son imitates his father. 

       After college, my father offered me a job within his company. This was an opportunity to develop basic trade skills like swinging a hammer or using a level. These jobsites were unique. Our job was to carefully remove building materials from old schools, banks, flour mills, etc. The material would be refurbished or shipped to milling companies for restoration. Subsequently, materials were sold to restaurants, home builders, and to the general public. This portion of my career created a better understanding of the way structures are built. 

        However, my desires climbed further into the creative process of bringing structures to life. Initially, this looked like small furniture. Which eventually became custom epoxy tables, hardwood cabinets, kitchen islands, and more. After, hundreds of furniture installs and encounters with uneven walls, design discussions with clients, wall modifications and additional carpentry projects, my mind wandered...

        In time, an opportunity arose to work under a Spec Home Developer. This bridged the gap between being a skilled craftsman to being a skilled project manager. Fast-forward a couple more years... Here we are. 

Innovate Structures is a reflection of my pipe dream. Every jobsite before this has created the sum of where we are.
